Job Description
Who is Boulevard? Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses.
We empower our customers to give their clients more of the magical moments that matter most.
Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business.
Our roots may be in hair salons, but we are built for the broader self-care industry, including many types of salons, spas, medspa, barbershops, and more.
Our technology not only helps our customers survive but thrive.
Take a look at how we (and YOU) can make that happen .
We have an insatiable curiosity and embrace experimentation.
We believe that simple solutions require the most sophistication, and we design each and every detail to maximize potential, power, and impact.
Do our values match? Read through our story and what we value the most .
Our team values and celebrates our diverse backgrounds.
Being open about who we are and what we do allows us to do the best work of our lives.
We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too.
Come do the Best Work of Your Life at Boulevard As the Event Marketing Manager, you'll be the operational, creative, and executional engine behind Boulevard's in-person presence, from large trade shows and conferences to smaller field marketing moments like happy hours, dinners, and experiential activations.
You'll own your slate of events end to end as a marketing channel: sourcing vendors, managing logistics and budgets, shaping the experience itself, running the campaigns that drive attendance and engagement, and measuring and reporting on the results, so that every touchpoint, big or small, is tied back to business impact.
This is a highly collaborative role, and a great fit for someone who has run events of different shapes and sizes before, and thrives at the intersection of creativity and analytics: equally energized by dreaming up a standout booth or an intimate dinner experience, and digging into the data to prove its impact.
You'll also need a finger on the pulse of what's happening in the world and in our industry, since that awareness shapes what makes an event or activation feel timely and relevant rather than generic.
This is an individual contributor role and will be expected to operate with strong ownership, sound judgment, professionalism, and great attention to detail.
What You'll Do Independently manage and/or support the day-to-day planning and logistics for an assigned slate of trade shows, conferences, sponsored events, and field marketing experiences (happy hours, dinners, small experiential activations), from initial sourcing through on-site execution and breakdown Run on-site execution, including booth or venue setup/breakdown, staffing schedules, registration, speaking engagement logistics, and troubleshooting in real time when plans change Ideate and produce at-event activations, booth experiences, and on-site moments that drive engagement and make Boulevard stand out, staying closely attuned to what's happening in the market, in culture, and in the beauty and wellness industry so every concept feels timely and on-brand Own your assigned events as a full-funnel marketing channel, project-managing the pre- and post-event campaigns (invites, email, social, follow-up) that drive awareness, attendance, and engagement, and supporting lead capture and follow-up workflows with Sales and Marketing Operations Share input and recommendations on which events and field marketing opportunities we prioritize, based on what you're seeing in the market, past performance, and conversations with organizers and attendees, informing calendar decisions Build and manage detailed project timelines and checklists in Asana, and own pre- and post-event internal communications Manage budgets, the contract/invoice process, and inventory of trade show collateral, signage, swag, and reusable event assets across the calendar, flagging risks or overages early Track and report on the performance of your events, including post-event recaps, leads, pipeline, and ROI, and be accountable for tying results back to business impact Build relationships with event organizers, vendors, and on-site partners, and represent Boulevard professionally with prospects and customers at every event Travel to support on-site execution (approximately 20-30% of the time), including some weekends What You'll Need To Thrive 3-5 years of experience supporting the logistics and on-site execution of trade shows, conferences, and/or field marketing events (dinners, happy hours, small activations), including vendor coordination, contracts, and budgets, ideally for a B2B SaaS, technology, beauty, or wellness company A genuine pulse on culture and industry trends, with the creative instinct to translate that into memorable, on-brand experiences, whether a trade show booth or an intimate dinner Exposure to pre- and post-event marketing campaigns, and experience tracking and reporting on leads, pipeline, and ROI and tying it back to business goals Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple projects and timelines, ideally using a project management tool like Asana Calm under pressure and quick to problem-solve when on-site logistics don't go according to plan Comfortable representing Boulevard in person and building relationships with vendors, customers, and prospects Experience working in a CRM such as Salesforce for lead and data tracking Curious about using AI to work smarter, whether that's speeding up planning, reporting, or content, and excited to build it into how you approach the role How We Will Take Care of You At Boulevard, we work hard to structure compensation in a way that balances internal equity with local market competitiveness, and we’re happy to share a good-faith estimate of the base salary range for this role.
