Job Description We are seeking a PMP certified Project Manager with a strong understanding of the finance acumen to monitor and control the design execution of internal project teams and subconsultant project teams.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing up to $5M net service revenue annually.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering projects for federal clients as well as developing work plans to stay on plan.
This position offers the flexibility of a remote work schedule and can be based from a variety of locations in the US where AECOM has an office.
Although the position is primarily remote periodic travel may be required for client meetings, key project milestones, onsite collaboration sessions, or other businessâcritical activities.
Travel is expected to be occasional and scheduled in advance AECOM is a leader in the global data center consulting industry with robust teams in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our teams around the world on high-profile, fast-paced data center projects for global clients.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role with an opportunity for upward career mobility.
Key Responsibilities
Manages portfolio across multiple concurrent data center design projects.
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned.
Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
Monitor program performance including schedule, budget, staffing, and risk.
Utilize earned value management to assess work progress against the baseline.
Identify and resolve program-level constraints impacting delivery.
Ensure consistency of execution across multiple projects and clients.
Support Design Managers and Strategy Site Managers in maintaining successful delivery.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and program reviews.
Lead change management process for internal and external changes.
Assist in managing client expectations and overall client experience.
Exchanges information on sensitive matters and works to build consensus across teams and departments.
Completes assigned work independently.
Travel as needed for project-related activities such as client meetings and site visits.
Apply for and obtain AECOM Project Manager certification within 1 year of start date.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Masterâs in Business Administration Minimum 5+ years managing complex programs or major projects Experience supporting or leading proposal efforts Strong understanding of A/E project delivery process Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong business and financial acumen Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities U.S. citizenship is required due to the potential future need for a government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
