About the Role
GiveWell is scaling its research and grantmaking to billions of dollars, and we need a senior voice to shape how that impact is communicated worldwide. As the Senior Communications Officer, Strategic Communications, you will own the development of clear, evidence‑based narratives that translate complex global‑health research into compelling stories for donors, partners, and the public. Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, you will lead a small, growing team and collaborate asynchronously with researchers, program officers, and external partners across time zones. Your work will be 100% remote, leveraging collaborative tools to maintain high‑velocity, high‑impact output.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and execute multi‑channel messaging strategies that align with GiveWell’s mission and fundraising goals.
- Partner with research, impact, and fundraising teams to co‑create content calendars, ensuring timely delivery of reports, donor updates, and campaign assets.
- Uphold rigorous quality standards, edit all communications for accuracy, tone, and compliance, and meet tight publication deadlines.
