What are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Mobile & Data) who can design and build end-to-end features across React/React Native frontends and Rails, Kotlin, and Golang backend services. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem solver who can work across the full technology stack, contribute to modernising legacy systems, and make sound technical decisions by balancing complexity, maintainability, and business needs while ensuring reliable and high-quality solutions.

What are you expected to do?

Design and build full-stack features across our React/TypeScript frontend and Kotlin/Go/Rails backends.

Implement robust API integrations following our BFF (Backend for Frontend) patterns.

Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using our design system.

Write comprehensive tests and contribute to our strong CI/CD practices.

Contribute to our user and system observability and monitoring, including being on-call.

Mentor team members and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

What are the key relationships that are relevant to the role?

Engineering Manager and Product Managers within the squad.

Design/UX team for end-to-end feature delivery.

Other engineers across the microservices ecosystem (Golang, Rails, Kotlin).

Platform/DevOps team on observability, monitoring, and infrastructure.

Engineers across the distributed team in Australia, Portugal, and Vietnam.

You have 5+ years of professional software development experience.

You have experience with backend or frontend technologies powering customer-facing web applications.

You have experience with database and persistence layer design, including managing schema and data changes over time.

You have experience with backend development and API design (REST/gRPC).

You have experience with user analytics and data transformation pipelines.

You have experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerisation.

You have experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.

You have experience architecting and building full-stack features end-to-end, from UI to backend integration.

You have experience working across React/React-Native frontend and Rails/Kotlin/Golang backend services.

You have experience applying AI tooling and creating environments where agents can deliver solutions effectively.

You have experience writing comprehensive tests and contributing to CI/CD practices.

You are comfortable working across multiple programming languages and technology stacks.

You have a strong problem-solving orientation and can judge when a complex solution is warranted and when a simpler one will do.

You operate with ownership and autonomy in a distributed, async-first team environment.

You are collaborative, with strong product thinking and attention to craft.

You are committed to continuous learning and professional development.

You are comfortable moving across technology stacks and problem domains as a generalist.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in Vietnam. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Vietnam labor laws and employment regulations.

You’ll go through 3–4 interviews plus a possible assessment with our client partner. This includes an initial chat, a culture-fit interview, and 1–2 conversations with our awesome client. The whole process usually takes 1–2 weeks, but we’ll let you know if things need to move quicker.
