Purpose of Role

The Senior Manager, International Tax Planning & US International Tax will play a key role in managing international tax matters, including U.S. international tax compliance, Pillar Two global minimum tax, intercompany financing, tax forecasting, and strategic tax planning. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and technically strong international tax professional with experience managing complex tax models, reviewing U.S. international tax computations, leading cross-functional projects, and communicating tax insights to leadership. This role will partner with Controllership, Treasury, Legal, regional tax teams, and external advisors to evaluate the tax implications of business activity, support financial reporting, improve forecasting accuracy, and implement tax-efficient strategies aligned with the Company’s global business objectives.

Your Impact

U.S. International Tax Compliance & Provision

Lead the preparation and review of U.S. international tax calculations, including NCTI, Foreign Tax Credits, GILTI, Subpart F, IRC Section 163(j), BEAT, FDII, and related tax provision and forecasting activities.

Own the annual U.S. international tax compliance process, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8990, 8992, 8975, 5713, 1118, and other required filings.

Serve as the primary liaison with external tax advisors and compliance providers.

Support quarterly and annual reviews of U.S. international tax and global minimum tax provisions with external auditors.

Oversee additional compliance matters, including Forms 1042 and W-8 reporting requirements.

Tax Planning & Strategic Initiatives

Lead tax planning projects and evaluate strategies that align with business and financial objectives.

Build financial models to assess tax impacts of mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, divestitures, financing arrangements, and other strategic transactions.

Partner with Treasury to support intercompany financing structures and global cash management initiatives.

Perform technical tax research and analysis to identify planning opportunities, mitigate risk, and support complex tax matters.

Analyze U.S. and international tax issues, including foreign tax credits, GILTI/Subpart F, cross-border planning, tax attribute utilization, and Pillar Two implications.

Monitor legislative developments and emerging tax trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities.

Support high-priority business initiatives with strong project management and execution discipline.

Pillar Two Global Minimum Tax

Lead the Company's global Pillar Two strategy, including forecasting, modeling, compliance, and implementation.

Manage key compliance obligations, including Global Information Returns, Qualified Domestic Minimum Top-Up Tax filings, registrations, notifications, and jurisdictional reporting requirements.

Evaluate Transitional Safe Harbor rules and analyze potential top-up tax exposure by jurisdiction.

Collaborate with Finance, Controllership, regional tax teams, and external advisors to support compliance, reporting, and technology-enabled processes.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

Serve as a trusted business partner across Tax, Treasury, Finance, Controllership, Legal, and regional teams.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

Manage external consulting relationships supporting compliance, planning, modeling, and technical tax initiatives.

Influence and collaborate across functions through strong communication, technical expertise, and business acumen.

Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provide oversight and direction to external tax advisors supporting compliance, planning, and strategic projects.

Mentor and support the development of Regional Tax Leads and broader tax team members as appropriate.

While this role currently has no direct reports, leadership responsibilities may expand as the organization evolves.

Qualifications

Bachelors/minor or MS degree in accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field preferred

CPA, JD, or LLM preferred

8+ years of public accounting tax experience or a mix of public accounting and US multinational corporate tax department experience

Experience with interpreting, modeling, and applying US international and foreign income tax laws and regulations; specifically, US international tax Subpart F (including NCTI/GILITI), foreign tax credits, BEAT and FDDEI

Experience with Pillar II global minimum tax rules, including the GloBE, traditional safe-harbors, side-by-side model, and related compliance requirements

Experience designing, modeling, and implementing international tax planning initiatives and projects

Strong Communication skills. Able to express facts and ideas in writing in a clear, convincing and organized manner; listen effectively and clarify information as needed to tax and non-tax internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Co-Pilot, and PowerPoint

Flexible with change and able to pivot quickly

Base Compensation

$140,000.00-$180,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
