Website Designer – WordPress, Webflow, Figma & UX/UI Full-Time | Remote | U.S. Business Hours About the Role At Pavago , one of our clients is hiring a Website Designer to design and build modern, responsive, and conversion-focused websites.

This is a hands-on role combining UX/UI design with CMS implementation . You’ll take projects from wireframes and high-fidelity designs through live website builds while ensuring strong performance, SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.

We’re looking for someone who can create websites that look great, perform well, and support real business goals.

What You’ll Own Website & UX/UI Design

Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch

Design responsive websites and landing pages

Translate brand and business goals into intuitive user experiences

Design with engagement and conversion in mind

CMS Development

Build and maintain websites using WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or Shopify

Customize themes and layouts with HTML and CSS

Use light JavaScript where required

Configure forms, plugins, integrations, and third-party tools

Performance, SEO & Optimization

Optimize websites for speed, SEO, accessibility, and mobile performance

Implement metadata, heading structures, alt text, internal links, and schema

Improve Core Web Vitals

Run audits using Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or similar tools

Testing & Maintenance

Test websites across browsers, devices, and screen sizes

Troubleshoot responsiveness, formatting, plugins, and functionality

Maintain organized website assets and design systems

Support ongoing website updates, revisions, backups, and maintenance

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of professional website design experience

Strong portfolio of website and landing page projects

Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools

Hands-on experience with WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or Shopify

Strong HTML and CSS skills

Understanding of modern UX/UI and responsive design

Experience optimizing websites for SEO, speed, and mobile usability

Strong attention to detail and visual design quality

Comfortable collaborating remotely during U.S. business hours

Nice to Have

Shopify or WooCommerce experience

Basic JavaScript/front-end development knowledge

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager familiarity

B2B SaaS, agency, or e-commerce experience

Conversion-focused landing page and CRO experience
