Position: Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Expert — Data Centers
Type: Contract
Compensation: $100–$140/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 5–10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Review complex engineering tasks in data-center environments . Focus on cooling , hydronic systems , HVAC , and electrical systems .
Check engineering assumptions, calculations, and standards. Ensure compliance with codes and equipment data .
Identify ambiguities and improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and rubrics.
Validate corrected tasks end to end. Produce clear technical findings.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
2+ years of experience in data-center or mission-critical MEP design.
Strong command of data-center systems and relevant codes .
Ability to interpret large document sets and explain technical issues clearly.
Preferred
Experience at a leading multidisciplinary or consulting engineering firm.
PE or recognized commissioning credential.
